Welcome to Bead Babies Lampwork beads and Jewellery. I've been making jewellery for years, but recently discovered the art of lampwork bead making and am now addicted. The process of lampworking transforms rods of glass into wearable works of art, because each one is individually handmade no two are ever the same. I love the process so much that each bead is special to me, in fact I started calling them my babies, hence the name Bead Babies. Because they are all my babies they are not for sale, but they can be adopted (for a fee) from this site. The beads for adoption and used in the jewellery are all kiln annealed for added strength and durability, however they are still made of glass and should not be given to small children. I am also a Self-Representing Artist, this means that all of the glass beads on this site are made by me.
